Drie gezichten Four in Balance teamtest

Using ICT in education involves mixing basic ingredients in the right proportions. These ingredients or components are: educational philosophy, knowledge and skills, educational software (including content) and ICT infrastructure.

The tool helps schools measuring the current use of each component. The results offer the school the opportunity to see which component(s) needs extra attention to create a balanced use of ICT

Information about the current use of ict is available in the publication:

Onderwijsvernieuwing Four in Balance Monitor

Where is the computer in Dutch education? What are the short term ICT ambitions of teachers and school management? And, crucially, does ICT use improve education and make it more attractive for teachers and pupils, as is so often claimed? The Four in Balance Monitor 2008 answers these questions.
